Description
12mm MDF board is easily cut and shaped with both hand and machine tools to provide a surface that is easily painted or decorated. MDF (Medium Density Fibre) is a widely used sheet material within the building and joinery industry. It is manufactured from wood fibres, mixed with resin and waxes which are then hot pressed to the required thickness. The wood fibres in MDF are sourced from environmentally friendly sources.
This large sized 12mm MDF board is ideal for many interior DIY and professional projects.
It is is often used for wardrobe panels, cupboard sides, drawer fronts, and lightweight furniture components. Its smooth surface makes it ideal for painting or laminating. It’s also a popular choice for shaker-style wall panelling, feature walls, and decorative interior trim because it cuts cleanly and provides a consistent finish. MDF’s density helps reduce vibration, making it suitable for audio enclosures and speaker cabinets. A truly versatile product!
