ENVIRONMENTAL UPDATE
We Did It!
Husqui is now ISO14001:2015 certified.
Husqui set the target of gaining ISO14001 accreditation in 2023.
We are proud to announce that this has been achieved.

What does this mean?
Our accreditation provides our customers with the assurance that we are committed to a programme of continual improvement to assess and reduce all environmental aspects as a result of our business, and their impacts.
We will now be audited annually to ensure we are maintaining these standards.

What next?
Now we have our environmental management systems in place, our focus is on improving and monitoring our progress. We have a team that regularly reviews our suppliers, products, operations, and distribution partners to help us achieve this.
Key objectives and next steps for the Husqui Team include reviewing our carbon footprint, evaluating our packaging and ensuring that we are meeting our recycling targets.
Carbon Neutral by 2025
We are working hard to be carbon neutral by 2025 and for this to be assessed by an independent organisation.
Packaging
We record all packaging received and also the packaging we send to our customers. It is our priority to ensure our customers are aware of what and where packaging can be recycled.
Recycling
We have an exciting onsite recycling initiative in the planning stages to help develop our circular economy and product life-cycle model.
